Community Guidelines
Last updated 31 August 2026
Curiosity, honesty, patience and consent — plus how we enforce them.
STILL is built on the belief that being known matters more than being looked at. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Use, and they apply everywhere on STILL: profiles, prompt answers, games, Connections and messages.
What we ask of you
- Lead with curiosity. STILL shows you how someone thinks before it shows you how they look. Ask a real question before you ask for a photo.
- Be recognisably yourself. Your photos should be of you, recent and unedited beyond ordinary adjustments. Your answers should be your own.
- Consent is continuous. Interest can be withdrawn at any point. Pressure of any kind — for photos, contact details, money or a meeting — is not welcome here.
- Be patient with the pace. Reveals are mutual and gradual on purpose. Trying to rush or route around that is a breach of these guidelines.
- Leave quietly. Ending a Vibe or closing a Connection is always allowed, never needs an explanation, and is never punished.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech or degrading anyone for who they are.
- Sexual content involving minors, and any sexualised presentation of a minor. This is reported to the authorities.
- Nudity or explicit sexual content, and sending sexual material to someone who has not invited it.
- Sharing anyone’s private information — including screenshots, photos or messages from STILL — outside the app.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sextortion, or threatening to expose someone.
- Scams, catfishing, romance fraud, requests for money, crypto or investment pitches, recruiting, and promoting a business, cause or campaign.
- Being under 18, or helping anyone under 18 use STILL.
- Multiple or shared accounts, buying or selling accounts, and evading a removal.
- Automation, scraping, or attempts to defeat our limits and reveal mechanics.
Reporting and blocking
Report anything that feels wrong — you do not need proof, and you do not need to be sure. Reports go to a human. Blocking takes effect immediately and is absolute: a blocked pair can never interact again on STILL, through any surface. Reporting a member also lets you block them in the same step. See our safety guidance for meeting in person.
How we enforce this
We look at context, severity and history. Depending on what we find we may remove content, limit features, suspend an account temporarily, or remove it permanently. Severe harms — content involving minors, credible threats, sexual violence, fraud and impersonation — result in immediate permanent removal and, where required, a report to the authorities.
Appeals
If you believe we got a decision wrong, email appeals@still.dating from the address on your account within 30 days. We aim to respond within 14 days, and a different reviewer looks at the case where practicable. Decisions involving content that endangers minors are final.
